Hey guys, sorry it has been so long! Things have been changing all over the place for me! Since being transferred to Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas, you can safely say that my dreams are coming true. This is the ship i wanted from the beginning of my idea of being a personal trainer on a cruise ship! I can't believe I made it this far.
I have two of the BEST Collegues in the world. Mic and Jack take really good care of me and I am blessed to share a business and a fitness center with them. The money is good here. Better than Celebrity for sure, But the social life here in non existent. I am really beginning to struggle with having a social life. That said, my life is becoming very healty.Boring, but healthy. I train, eat better (because the food here sucks, so i eat normal sized portions), and I sleep a lot more than I did on solstice. I think it might have something to do with the fact that there is no free cheese and the wine selection is shit. So i must be better off.
The caribbean is the same old same old. I go to the eastern carib one week (st. thomas, st. maarten, nassau, bahamas) and then I go west to Labadee, Haiti, Costa Maya, and Cozumel in mexico.) I like the Mexican ports, I always have. I made an american friend in Costa Maya. His nam is Steve and he owns a restaurant on the beach called the tropicante.
It's one of those places that you walk by and think to yourself...hhmm ,I really shouldn't eat there-it doesn't look too good, too happening...but they have the BEST MEXICAN FOOD AND MARGARITAS ON THE ISLAND!!!! I can't wait until tomorrow to I can go there for a proper meal with real cheese! Amazing what makes me happy these days!

Hi Michelle! From your old trainee at Cascade Athletic Club, checking in on your blog to see what you are up to and happy for your success and laughing with your sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteI have become a clown with the Rose Festival and will be in the parade, as well as a few other events, which we did yesterday at Train Day. Our teacher is Angel, and he is one, and I am also retiring this June!
Hugs, Hannah
